Support Student Veterans to
Lead in Global Peacebuilding
The Corioli Institute is raising money for the Student Veteran Fellows Program,
a first-of-its-kind initiative designed to develop the next generation of leaders in national and international security. This fellowship empowers student veterans with the skills, resources, and mentorship needed to create positive change in critical security and peacebuilding fields worldwide.
Why Give to the Student Veteran Fellows Program?
Honoring Service
Through Impact
Supporting the Student Veteran Fellows Program is a meaningful way to honor the service of American veterans. This fellowship empowers them to channel the invaluable skills gained through military service into tools for building stability and resilience in violence-affected settings worldwide.
A Fellowship Like No Other
Our program is uniquely crafted for student veterans with a passion for supporting transitions from violence to nonviolence—whether they involve state or non-state armed groups. This immersive one-year fellowship offers hands-on experience, rigorous research training, and direct community engagement, bolstering Corioli's mission and preparing veterans to lead impactful initiatives on a global scale.
Two Paths, Countless Opportunities
Each year, we select two fellows, one undergraduate and one postgraduate,
who receive a monthly stipend of $1,500. They will additionally receive an
annual budget for impact and professional development events and direct field experience training. This may include participating in on-the-ground work, spearheading projects in one of our global operating regions, or developing their organizational leadership skills. Fellows also have the flexibility to tailor their fellowship experience to align with their unique goals and interests.
Mentorship and a Global Network
Every Fellow is paired with an experienced mentor in their chosen field and
gains access to the Corioli Institute’s extensive multi-sector global network.
This mentorship and network provide Fellows with invaluable project management skills, career-advancing connections, and a deep understanding
of the complex dynamics involved in transitioning from war to peace and reintegrating former combatants into society.
